How does a Walking food tour work?
Visit our tours page and find a tour you'd like to take. Buy your tickets online, and we'll send you a confirmation email with all the nitty-gritty details. On the day, put on your comfiest walking shoes and meet us at the tour's Start Point. You'll recognize your EAT tour guide by their t-shirt. Take your tour, enjoy your food items, and leave us a review on TripAdvisor to let us know how we did. If you had a good time, we'd love to see you for another tour! Each tour varies, but there is approximately 1km of light walking between the food stops.
How does an adventure work?
The details depend on the adventure, but you'll always meet us at the Start Point and we'll get you to and from the adventure site.
What should I bring on my food tour?
A healthy appetite is always a good start! You'll also want shoes you can comfortably walk in. We dine rain or shine, so be ready for the weather forecast, too! Bring sunscreen if it's a nice day and a jacket if it isn't.
How much food will I get on the food tour?
You'll get an appetizer-sized portion at each restaurant. Don't worry, though — with 4–6 locations per tour, the food adds up fast! You'll also get special discounts if you want to go back to any location.
How can I tell you about my allergies or dietary restrictions?
We completely understand that not everyone can eat everything. That's why we make sure to flag any allergens you might come into contact with on our tours. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions you think we should know about (and we really do want to know!), just let us know when you're booking your tour or adventure. We'll do our best to make sure you still have a great time!
Are tour stops accessible for people using wheelchairs, walkers, or crutches?
Most of our tour stops should be easy to access. If a tour includes a location that's more difficult to get to (like a second-floor space), we'll tell you that up front. Please note that our tours involve quite a bit of movement, so keep that in mind when you're booking.
Can I bring my kids or pets?
Kids are welcome on all tours except the ones marked 18+. Make sure to check for any age restrictions before you book a tour. Pets, on the other hand, aren't allowed in restaurants unless they're service animals. So while your seeing-eye dog is more than welcome, the family dog will need to stay at home.
Refunds
Tour run in rain, snow or shine. No refunds will be provided once you have purchased your ticket. Please ensure you that you have chosen the correct date/time and tour. A minimum of 4 people is required for the tour to run. If we do not have the minimum number of people to run the tour 48 hours prior, we will contact you to let you know that the tour will be rescheduled. At that time you have the option of participating in another tour or receiving a refund.
Tickets available until 48 hours before the start time.
